Have had three appointments at this location and each time was pleasant. The ladies in the front are so polite and accommodating and the doctor was always prompt. Never waited more than 10 minutes after appointment time to be seen or had any bad experiences. I’ve even referred a few friends and family and they also love the location. Not sure why every other comment is so negative. More

This is now my 2nd review, i cannot recommend this place more highly than i already do. The professionalism of the entire staff, the thoroughness of all parts of the exams, the communication before the appointment was amazing, its always super clean and nicely decorated for the season/holidays, plenty of parking. Reasonable price for out of pocket exam fee, and the exam itself was so thorough i would've gladly paid more than what they charged. They took the time to listen to my concerns and explained what I needed excellently.Looking at the 1 star reviews is pretty confusing/upsetting to me and if that happened to those customers, im truly sorry if you encountered racism, and I hope it is being addressed, but I find it very odd if the associate accused of being racist would be working there for very long as besides Dr. R taking care of me, all of the ladies I saw working the day of my appointment were all very lovely, kind, and professional black women. I would hope they would not be subjected to that kind of work environment, and customers shouldn't have to either.They got me in for an appt super quick, the staff is amazing in all areas of the store, especially the woman who helped me pick my glasses. Dr. Prewandowski is the most amazing vision doctor around. I have been with her for almost 2 decades. If you are considering or curious about contact lenses then I highly recommend a visit with her. She will show you how to put them in and take them out. You can obviously keep the pair used and take them home to try them out, FREE of charge.I have very different vision in each eye and hate wearing glasses. She worked with me so that I can continue to see with my contacts. My glasses however are bo-focals.I honestly can't say enough about Dr. Prewandowski and the service she provides. She will ask personal questions about your vision issues and help to resolve them. More

Bought my glasses from them years ago. Went in and asked questions about my two pairs of glasses to see if they could be repaired. They were very polite. One had good lenses but broken frame the other had bad lenses but good frame so they combined the two into 1 good pair since the frame and lenses that were damaged couldn't be saved were identical for both pair they made 1 good pair of glasses and didn't even charge me. What great service. More

Overall, we had a really great experience there when I just brought my teen who has a quite unique prescription. I chose them because you can get your MassHealth prescription and fill it (choose MH approved glasses) at the same location. The only minor slip was that the Optical Shoppe and the doctors dont have connected computer systems so they couldn't see my insurance information (I had only printed a copy of the card and told the front desk to toss it, my fault). The wait time was minimal and everyone seemed to know what they were doing. Having previously worked for an eye doctors for years, I was very satisfied with the way everything was handled. The doctor was kind and friendly, explaining everything. More

I went to the Optical Shop and Christina B. was great 👍! She answered all of my questions and checked my Insurance. I walked in without any sort of an appointment, so I appreciated her assisting me. I had also brought in an older pair of glasses that needed some help and Christina went above and beyond with restoring them, thanks! They are great at follow-up care. They book appointments to follow-up if they find concerns with you. I will continue to go here for many years and when I need more appointments they are accommodating and want to get you back for follow-up on your condition. I came without an appointment just to see if I could make one. Long story… they were booked for the day but still fit me in with almost no wait. I felt confident in the diagnosis and treatment plan. I would recommend this practice. More

I was not a patient prior, but was having an eye emergency that I had just been to urgent care the day before and the ER early the same morning and was desperate to find someone who would look at my eye. My eye doctor (Vision works) couldn't get me in for 3 days! I called here and they got me an appointment an hour and a half later. When I got there, I ended up needing a referral from my doctor for my health insurance, but they just had me sign a paper and handled the rest so I could still be seen. Within 5 minutes, Dr. Marques told me I had an ulcer and was put on antiviral meds immediately. My eye starting feeling better after taking the first dose. The staff, and Dr. Marques were all so caring and wonderful. I went ahead and scheduled a regular eye exam and plan on coming here for all my eye needs. Thank you all so much for your compassion and speed in getting me seen, treated, and feeling better within the same day. More

Always a positive experience from checking in to getting to the exam room. Trevor was great in getting me settled in the exam room. Next comes Dr Meehan who seems to know what questions to ask when he walks in the room and during the exams. I don’t know how other eye doctors are but I know that every experience with eye Health VC has been positive. I Have a couple of appointments in June that I actually look forward to! More

They always explain what will happen and what they are doing with the eye drops and what will happen. They usually take photos of the inside of my eyes so Dr. Westerfeld can see what is going on inside my eyes. Dr. Westerfeld always explains what he sees and if any problems are developing. More

I needed cataract surgery, as it looked like I was seeing through a cloud. Omni Eye Specialists were recommended by my eye doctor. I scheduled a consultation and they recommended a course of treatment that would restore my eyesight to near 20/20, and also correct the astigmatism I had in both eyes. Too be honest, the surgery left me a bit trepidatious, but the eye care professionals at Omni were very understanding and explained the whole procedure. Dr. Wang was the surgeon who performed the surgery and I didn't feel a thing. The procedure was quicker than I anticipated, but the results were fantastic! I was amazed at the difference in clarity and depth of vision. Colors popped and to say that I was a bit overwhelmed by the difference would be an understatement. The Dr. Wang and the staff at Omni Eye Specialists were extremely professional and courteous in explaining the initial surgery and provided excellent post-op consultation. The gift of sight is something that most, (to include myself) take for granted. But the professionals at Omni Eye, gave me the best Christmas present of all. They restored my sight, and for that I will be eternally grateful. If you are ever in need of cataract surgery or anything related to eye care, I cannot recommend Omni Eye Specialists highly enough. I have been a patient at I Care for over 40 years. Since Dr Fowler retired I have been looking for “that Dr I am “comfortable” with and is skilled enough to tackle my challenging vision correction issues. Dr Valenzuela is very skilled and offers great care. Because of a minor in jury I had an opportunity to meet Dr Lo and found her personality was a better match and felt she was more patient with my complicated case. .She has also been amazing in finding the best vision for me I have had in years. I went to Omni Eye Specialists both for a second opinion, and for new symptoms after seeing another eye doctor recently. I’m so glad that I did! They were thorough, efficient, friendly, punctual with holding my appointment time, and thoroughly explained what is going on with my eyes and my options. Chose Panoptix lenses for cataract surgery. They didn't get it 100%, so this option offered free refractive surgery to tweak my vision, if needed and we needed to do that. Arrived at a great result. Highly recommend! More

Dr. Detweiler was great, he referred me for a retinal surgery and told me if I had not heard from them by morning to call him. I had not heard by morning call him back he was with a patient left message he call me a few minutes later. A couple minutes later referred OD's office call and schedule me nearly two weeks out saying that was sooness time they had I call him back he told me he would call me right back, he did and the OD's called me right back and scheduled me in two days. Dr Detweiler is very deligent, caring, easy to talk to as this was the first time I had met but when retina is taken care of I will be getting my cataract taken of. More

Visited this place for the first time on /1/24 with my 11 year old. He has anxiety with doctor appointments and it was a struggle to get him into the building. Once checked in, we were allowed to be distracted by looking at all the cool frames they have, and the nice pediatric frames they offer. When my little guy's name was called, he anxiously looked at me and i reassured him that his experience was going to be pleasant, and that it was. The assistant to the MD was wonderful and she was interacting with him along with getting all the work she had to get done, she reassured him that they were not going to blow air into his eye, and she was concise on listening to his concerns and what he experiences with his eyes, including the migranes he has recently been experiencing. Once the tech was done with her diagnostics, she excused herself and stated that the doctor would be in shortly. A brief minute later the doctor showed up and introduced herself to him directly. When she introduced herself, it helped my little one realize he was the one in control and he was going to be listened to. Despite my little one being fidgety and tired at the same time, Dr Baker patiently and compassionately completed her exam, even having to repeat herself a couple of times which she did so with a soft and gentle voice. Dr Baker explained at the end of the exam to my little guy that he could now go pick his new glasses, which we all know is the "fun" part. Picking glasses was easy and painless in their optical shop. Even though the pair of glasses he wanted were not covered by his insurance plan, he found another pair much like them in the area that were covered by insurance which he was happy enough with, for now. Eventually when we have the $200 for the Nike pair of glasses he likes we will order them but todays economy hasn't been kind to my family this year. So far the experience was pleasant and anxiety free for me and him. We look forward to picking up his glasses when they are ready.
