Have had three appointments at this location and each time was pleasant. The ladies in the front are so polite and accommodating and the doctor was always prompt. Never waited more than 10 minutes after appointment time to be seen or had any bad experiences. I’ve even referred a few friends and family and they also love the location. Not sure why every other comment is so negative. More

Visited this place for the first time on /1/24 with my 11 year old. He has anxiety with doctor appointments and it was a struggle to get him into the building. Once checked in, we were allowed to be distracted by looking at all the cool frames they have, and the nice pediatric frames they offer. When my little guy's name was called, he anxiously looked at me and i reassured him that his experience was going to be pleasant, and that it was. The assistant to the MD was wonderful and she was interacting with him along with getting all the work she had to get done, she reassured him that they were not going to blow air into his eye, and she was concise on listening to his concerns and what he experiences with his eyes, including the migranes he has recently been experiencing. Once the tech was done with her diagnostics, she excused herself and stated that the doctor would be in shortly. A brief minute later the doctor showed up and introduced herself to him directly. When she introduced herself, it helped my little one realize he was the one in control and he was going to be listened to. Despite my little one being fidgety and tired at the same time, Dr Baker patiently and compassionately completed her exam, even having to repeat herself a couple of times which she did so with a soft and gentle voice. Dr Baker explained at the end of the exam to my little guy that he could now go pick his new glasses, which we all know is the "fun" part. Picking glasses was easy and painless in their optical shop. Even though the pair of glasses he wanted were not covered by his insurance plan, he found another pair much like them in the area that were covered by insurance which he was happy enough with, for now. Eventually when we have the $200 for the Nike pair of glasses he likes we will order them but todays economy hasn't been kind to my family this year. So far the experience was pleasant and anxiety free for me and him. We look forward to picking up his glasses when they are ready. We are thankful for a pleasant and anxiety free experience Dr Baker and her staff offered to my 11 year old. More

Blessings. I was a walk in and was seen right away. Went over my options of the kind of insurance I had. As well as many options for the style I was interested in. Gave great information and insight on which ones to choose, and many options of payments to consider. The wait time was what is was. I just made sure they didn’t forget me. lol! and a lil bunch later. I was in there, like swimwear. I chose the $700 pair and was very happy and pleased for my pair. I will be back to get more. I’m so thankful to have received wonderful care over the years, but this call center issue is a HUGE problem. On a Friday I tried to contact the Dartmouth office on 4 separate occasions but because they’ve outsourced their call center it’s nearly impossible to get ahold of them. I called the after hours line because I desperately needed some advice, Dr. Meehan was great at explaining what he believed I was experiencing and advised I come in the following week. By monday morning it’s an emergency and I am SOO incredibly thankful to Lauren Amaral at the Middletown office for contacting the manager Grace at the Dartmouth office allowing me to be seen today, potentially saving me from an ER visit. I was seen very quickly thankfully to these ladies and was treated by the kindest Dr. Allard who diagnosed my issue and prescribed me the oral antibiotics I so desperately needed. Having an eye emergency is scary, fix your call center, PLEASE!! This would absolutely be a 5 star review if getting a hold of the office wasn’t so difficult. More

My first time seeing an ophthalmologist, my primary dr. referred me to this office. Overall the appt. was good, I just had never had my eyes dilated before so that was weird. It lasted almost all day. I went early in the morning. I was told my eyes were healthy but I need glasses. I could have asked more questions but then I was prompted to pick out a pair right after and I couldn’t really even see. A little more clarity on the whole glasses part would have been appreciated. Price when to wear them etc. Thanks! More

It was a late afternoon and my son got hit in the eye with a rock. He was in so much pain. He called every eye doctor in Mt. Airy, and the wonderful staff at Mt. Airy Vision were able to see him. The staff were AMAZING!! They were so kind and were genuinely concerned for him. When we meet Dr. Owen's he was absolutely WONDERFUL. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it. Told us the medicine he was getting and what it was for and also what he would need during the treatment duration. At his follow-up he even wrote out a schedule of when to do the drops because he was on so many. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! More

I must say I had a very good experience here getting my first pair of glasses. I will be going back for my second pair in a few days. My only concern was I was never able to use the bifocal part. It seemed like it was too far down for me to see through. But overall I had a good experience. It does seem like my eyes have gotten worst than better. I squint even with the glasses on. So we shall see in a few days. I hope my second experience will be as good as my first. More

My daughter and I have been going to Eye Health Vision Centers in Fairhaven for many years. We are always greeted by Jillian in a professional and friendly manner. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and really cares what is going on in your life. The rest of the staff is so wonderful because my daughter has Autism and they are so patient and kind to her. Dr. Mastrolia is very knowledgeable in his field and takes the time to explain things and asks you if you have any questions or concerns. The Optical department is great to deal with. They take as much time as you need to make sure your questions are answered and are always friendly. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for great eye care. More

At my annual visit with Mt. Airy Vision Center, I had a very pleasant experience with the staff and Dr. Bradbury! The staff was so friendly and nice and Dr. Bradbury was very professional but also made sure I understood everything about my eye examination and diagnosis. The staff was very nice with helping me pick out frames and even gave me plenty of time to pick out the frames I like. No rush and no pressure!! It was such a great visit!!!! More

I went and picked out my glasses and the young ladies that were there were so pleasant and kind. My glasses came quickly as well. In the midst of everything that is going on with the pandemic they have restrictions in place that WORKS. They clean down the chairs after each person and wipe down everything you touch or put on. The office staff are very helpful and thorough, and Dr. Ronald Mastrolia is very professional and engaging, and I always learn new things when I speak with him. I had concerns about macular degeneration (tested positive on both sides via 23 &Me DNA test), and he spent time discussing this with me. I felt so much better after my eye exam. I've never had a negative experience here. All the staff were also very accommodating and patient with my son who has significant mental health issues. More
