After my eye doctor mixed up my contact and glasses prescription and refused to own up to it I decided to change. Am I glad I did. You are always greeted with a friendly smile when you walk in. The front desk does everything in their power to help you and ensure you are able to get in to see a doctor in a timely manner. There is no wait time from when you arrive and when your eye exam begins. The initial computerized exam portion is easy and quick. The doctor was the most thourough i have had in my 34 years of needing contacts. She was very detailed and did everything she could to ensure I am able to see as best as possible. Highly recommend. My mom loves Dr Bjork and I don’t mind driving her from Ky to Middletown so she can continue to be under his care. I didn’t like the on line medical update I was asked to complete. My mom would never have been able to do it. I had to start over 3 times because I kept getting kicked out and when I had to enter her meds, it would not accept one of her eye drops or her eye vitamin. Very frustrating More

I recently saw Dr. Quinn for an eye exam. I had some issues with my insurance and I assumed I would have to cancel and call them myself but the receptionist was so efficient and helped figure it out for me I was like wowed at the service... then the medical assistant who took me in was so detailed and friendly I never experienced such great customer service which is huge for me. But the doctor was by far my favorite she explained all of my medical issues with my eyes so well, you typically get doctors that say medical terms u don't understand and that scare u but not dr quin she explains things well and makes u feel relieved. I recommend this place for anyone on the island that needs a great eye doctor! 10 out 10! Recommending family to come here! More

I have been coming to Middletown Eye Care for about five years but they recently have added some new female doctors to the practice, which is always a plus. The receptionist was pleasant and easy to converse with. I was seen by Dr. Wagoner for the second time in two years. She is amazing. She has a fun personality and is very thorough. This was my first experience with the Optimap retina imaging and I was pleased with all the information Dr. Wagner was able to show on the screen and explain in detail. My annual eye exam was thorough and attentive to details. More

My wife and I went to Middletown Eyecare together. She wanted to determine if she needed to have her prescription changed. It was determined that she did not. Then I was examined and it was determined that I should have a new subscription for my contact. There was no charge for my wife’s exam and mine was done for a reasonable cost including getting a new contract. More

Middletown Eye Care has been a wonderful and trusted source for my family's vision care. The staff is so nice and very friendly. Dr. Fisher is caring and is great with children. She listens to my concerns as a parent and as a patient. She's been a good partner in strengthening my eye after an accident and I am seeing improvement in my vision. No one is ever excited to have to go to a optometrist for their two year old child. But with that said, I couldn’t be happier. As soon as we walked in Lexi, the receptionist was beyond kind and helpful. After a short wait, Jamie called us back, she was very patient and sweet doing some of the eye tests. Dr. Fisher came in and was great with answering my questions and explaining what/how/why she did the tests she did. She was very understanding and amazing with my two year old. I wasn’t sure how this appointment was going to go- but left feeling thankful to have met some amazing people who took care of my child. More

The appointment was to pick up my new glasses. There was a problem with the new lenses. They worked to figure out the problem and took steps to get it corrected. I’m now waiting again for my new glasses since they had to have them remade. I was quite satisfied with the way they handled it. More

EVC was able to give me a last minute procedure on my eye that I needed in time to deploy to Japan. I would suggest that military personnel go there for their opthalmology needs. No wait. The first lady at the counter, whose name I did not get quickly and efficiently, helped me get my contacts re-ordered and then stopped by the optician desk and met optician Jill Paasche. she was working with another lady at the counter and unfortunately I did not get her name that being said, Jill was an absolute pleasure and gave me excellent advice in choosing the proper lenses and frames. It was an excellent experience, and I couldn’t be happier, and I highly recommend that office and those people. The entire office has always been helpful, efficient and courteous.  They always go above and beyond. More

I was on my way to a walk in clinic due to obstruction in my left eye. Saw the sign for eye health and took a chance as an emergency walk in! I asked receptionist if they would see me. Receptionist was very kind and said they would see me as a patient. They got me in right away and took care of me! This was my first visit to Middletown Eye Care. I was very pleased with the friendly staff and the lobby area was very comfortable. My appointment was with Dr. Nathan Bjork. He was very professional, and very thorough in his examination. I highly recommend Dr. Bjork. My next stop after my exam was over to the eyeglass section of the office. The woman that helped me with choosing the features for my new glasses was very knowledgeable and friendly. She explained my insurance coverage as well as what features would work well with my particular vision issues. I was happy with the prices and selection of frames and found a pair of glasses that suited me well. Over all I can say confidently that this was the best experience I’ve ever had getting an eye exam and new glasses. Next time you need glasses or an exam give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
