New. I had cataract surgery. I could see like new again, but unfortunately it didn't last that long, not even two years. Now I have to have a laser procedure to clear my eye. Right now, if I close my right eye, I am blind. Everything is just a blur. I pray that this laser thing helps me see again. I will let you people know what happens. I had a very thorough exam for upcoming cataract surgery by medical staff who were very courteous and knowledgeable. More

I needed cataract surgery, as it looked like I was seeing through a cloud. Omni Eye Specialists were recommended by my eye doctor. I scheduled a consultation and they recommended a course of treatment that would restore my eyesight to near 20/20, and also correct the astigmatism I had in both eyes. Too be honest, the surgery left me a bit trepidatious, but the eye care professionals at Omni were very understanding and explained the whole procedure. Dr. Wang was the surgeon who performed the surgery and I didn't feel a thing. The procedure was quicker than I anticipated, but the results were fantastic! I was amazed at the difference in clarity and depth of vision. Colors popped and to say that I was a bit overwhelmed by the difference would be an understatement. The Dr. Wang and the staff at Omni Eye Specialists were extremely professional and courteous in explaining the initial surgery and provided excellent post-op consultation. The gift of sight is something that most, (to include myself) take for granted. But the professionals at Omni Eye, gave me the best Christmas present of all. They restored my sight, and for that I will be eternally grateful. If you are ever in need of cataract surgery or anything related to eye care, I cannot recommend Omni Eye Specialists highly enough. I went to Omni Eye Specialists both for a second opinion, and for new symptoms after seeing another eye doctor recently. I’m so glad that I did! They were thorough, efficient, friendly, punctual with holding my appointment time, and thoroughly explained what is going on with my eyes and my options. Chose Panoptix lenses for cataract surgery. They didn't get it 100%, so this option offered free refractive surgery to tweak my vision, if needed and we needed to do that. Arrived at a great result. Highly recommend! More

I was very impressed with Dr. Wang. I was referred here by my Optometrist, who said my blurry vision was caused by cataracts. I didn't tell Dr. Wang up front that I had seen three other Ophthalmologists, who thought the problem was my cornea and not cataracts, and that was the opinion Dr. Wang shared as well. This made me feel confident because I had this place pegged as a cataract surgery assembly line, so great to know that he wasn't biased towards cataracts being the problem. He explained my cornea issue in greater depth than any of the other Ophthalmologists. I was even more impressed that, because I had some odd factors to my cornea, he referred me to a university physician that could review his findings. More

After my eye doctor mixed up my contact and glasses prescription and refused to own up to it I decided to change. Am I glad I did. You are always greeted with a friendly smile when you walk in. The front desk does everything in their power to help you and ensure you are able to get in to see a doctor in a timely manner. There is no wait time from when you arrive and when your eye exam begins. The initial computerized exam portion is easy and quick. The doctor was the most thourough i have had in my 34 years of needing contacts. She was very detailed and did everything she could to ensure I am able to see as best as possible. Highly recommend. I did visit the location in Dartmouth and was extremely frustrated w/ the insurance rep and the associate at this location. I could tell she did not want any part of helping me fix my issue. I was there for 2 hours back and forth in my car and on the phone then tried to get the associate to help me and she made it a point to tell me she didn't have time. So waiting my turn AGAIN .. A Little more detail: I had cataract surgery with Dr Wang with 3 followup visits with Dr Dowgin. Both are excellent very direct and specific. I give these 2 a 5 star rating. My wife was in the consultations and followups with these two regarding my Cataract surgery. My wife had an intial consultation with Dr Detweiler and I had a final followup visit with Dr Detweiler. Both of us felt that Dr Detweiler was not as specific or direct with his analysis and responses to questions we had. In our opinion he was a 3. Which is why we gave a four rating overall. More

I called twice to make sure we were advised of all your Covid protocols. One troubling situation, experienced yesterday, was unexpected waiting time. Your employee, who advised myself and wife, about protocols, never mentioned the substantial possibility of significant extended waiting times attending a "consultation visit ". Attending any physicians office usually has an implication that a waiting time will be experienced. However, when you are using a companion driver, since your pupils are dilated, you need to provide expected waiting time information. The driver in waiting vehicle has little or no options to offset extended wait times. Combine both cold weather and attempting to avoid Covid exposure, you are stuck waiting in your vehicle outside your office. Aside from driver or patient not anticipating a 3+ hour office visit. I would suggest that you mention this to new patients. I would also recommend doing anything to enhance your sterile internal waiting rooms with TV and or coffee, water service . Upscale this visit and provide current magazines / newspapers just to enhance a new patient's experience. Yesterday I arrived at 10:10 for a 10:20 appointment. I provided necessary info on a touch pad kiosk. Then I waited and waited. Finally Ron, your amazing technician , received me and explained your examination process. He was thorough explaining and made sure all questions were understood & answered. Then I was returned to a smaller, no people, no anything sterile waiting room, for so long..... Finally a PA had me sit in another examination room waiting for Dr Wang. After more waiting I met Dr Jason W. He was also amazing describing the examination process and the risks and rewards for cataract surgery. Both Ron and Dr J were excellent , beyond expectations, explaining the complexities of what I would experience with two surgeries for correcting my eyes. I would rate and refer both Ron and Dr J as absolutely excellent!! The unexpected wait times and the sterile wait rooms sucked. So does living in a Covid environment suck!! Not your fault. Not mine or driver's fault. We're all just working and surviving during this crisis. I was pleased scheduling surgery and having additional related questions answered. Your messaging improved greatly by the end of this patient's consulting visit. Omni Eye Specialists have handled several issues with my eyes, including dry eyes and cataract surgery. The surgery was explained well personally by the surgeon, before and after, and improved my vision dramatically. Lipiflow and other supports have greatly improved my dry eye problems, and I plan to continue monitoring with the Omni specialists. More

Mark Jackson is the best eye doc I have ever had the pleasure of working with. It is apparent with every visit that he truly cares for the eye health of his patients and is very skilled at his craft, but most important to me is that he takes the time to educate me on the science behind the scenes. I am a curious sort, and I love that he will explain why my astigmatism is the way it is, how the various types of laser eye surgery are different, and all the finer points of eye correction with glasses or contacts. Dr. Riel is more than a audiologist for my family. I have three children who have hearing losses. I came to The Hearing Health Center to get my daughter and youngest son new hearing aids. While at this appointment I received a call that my middle son had just been diagnosed with cancer. While going through our family cancer journey the Hearing Health Center Foundation was introduced to me again because my son was diagnosed with a hearing loss. Today is my 4th day after surgery so I am now 5 days without glasses!! I spent a lot of time researching LASIK before I decided to go for consultations so I already had a fair understanding of the process. The knowledge I received at Eye Health Vision Center in Dartmouth, as well as the testing and evaluations I received there, WERE FAR SUPERIOR to the other consultation I had at TLC laser vision center in Providence!! I received a much more informative and thorough consultation at Eye Health and I felt that I received a much higher level of care and personal attention. Every detail was explained to me several times throughout the screening process making me feel very much at ease, comfortable, and excited enough to move forward. When my consultation screening was complete, it was reviewed by a doctor right away so I knew instantly if I was a good candidate or not. (At TLC I was told it would take 3 days for a doctor to review my chart and get back to me. I learned later on that it is because their doctors are not local and are flown in, which did not sit well with me and which may also be the reason that the price I was quoted before even being seen, was almost twice as much.) At Eye Health Vision Center, the doctors are all local and are there on the premises every day!! I cannot say enough good things about my experience or Dr. Gerber and the staff at EYE HEALTH!! If I could give them 10 stars instead of 5 I would, they are an amazing group of eye health providers and caregivers and they have changed my life. I am eternally grateful for their experience and their personalized care, my only regret is that i waited so long. Today is my 4th day after surgery so I am now 5 days without glasses!! I spent a lot of time researching LASIK before I decided to go for consultations so I already had a fair understanding of the process. The knowledge I received at Eye Health Vision Center in Dartmouth, as well as the testing and evaluations I received there, WERE FAR SUPERIOR to the other consultation I had at TLC laser vision center in Providence!! I received a much more informative and thorough consultation at Eye Health and I felt that I received a much higher level of care and personal attention. The entire staff was very friendly and informative and they answered all my questions and even gave me more information that I did not think to ask about!! I have been going here for over 4 years now. Yes at times there is a wait but it is usually because of emergencies. I receive shots in my eyes once a month, it has saved my vision! Have had cataract surgery in left eye, it went so awesomely, I'm now scheduled to have other eye done. The staff is so friendly! As for parking, there is a parking garage, don't want to be towed, don't park where you shouldn't.. I will recommend this office to all my family and friends, you can NOT have your eyes in better hands. More

From initially setting the appointment (for cataract surgery) on the telephone to the greeting as I entered the office; preliminary preparations, testing and examination with the doctor, the level of professional engagement and attentiveness was refreshing and sparkling. One year later, I received a note for follow-up on the surgery and all the same staff with the same professional contact and energy were there. From the very start of my decision to get Lasik the staff at Brumm has been extraordinarily professional and friendly. It's not often you find such a great combination of the two, and it's blended very well here at Brumm. My pre-op meeting was wonderful, the day of surgery everything was right on schedule and I was in and done before I even knew what hit me. 7/02/2012 I had cataract surgery. Around 7:30 AM, I had been prepped and rolled into the operating room at Miracle Hills Surgery Center. The procedure was painless and by 9:00 AM I was home and I could already see much better than before. The next day I had a follow up with Dr Brumm. Much to my surprise my vision in my right eye was now 20/30 which is much better than it was when I first got glasses when I was 8 years old. I am now almost 61. The only thing I have to do post-op is to put in a few eye drops. Dr Brumm and his staff were extremely professional and at the same time put me at ease. I cannot wait to get my left eye done.
