Bought my glasses from them years ago. Went in and asked questions about my two pairs of glasses to see if they could be repaired. They were very polite. One had good lenses but broken frame the other had bad lenses but good frame so they combined the two into 1 good pair since the frame and lenses that were damaged couldn't be saved were identical for both pair they made 1 good pair of glasses and didn't even charge me. What great service. More

They are great at follow-up care. They book appointments to follow-up if they find concerns with you. I will continue to go here for many years and when I need more appointments they are accommodating and want to get you back for follow-up on your condition. I came without an appointment just to see if I could make one. Long story… they were booked for the day but still fit me in with almost no wait. I felt confident in the diagnosis and treatment plan. I would recommend this practice. More

I was not a patient prior, but was having an eye emergency that I had just been to urgent care the day before and the ER early the same morning and was desperate to find someone who would look at my eye. My eye doctor (Vision works) couldn't get me in for 3 days! I called here and they got me an appointment an hour and a half later. When I got there, I ended up needing a referral from my doctor for my health insurance, but they just had me sign a paper and handled the rest so I could still be seen. Within 5 minutes, Dr. Marques told me I had an ulcer and was put on antiviral meds immediately. My eye starting feeling better after taking the first dose. The staff, and Dr. Marques were all so caring and wonderful. I went ahead and scheduled a regular eye exam and plan on coming here for all my eye needs. Thank you all so much for your compassion and speed in getting me seen, treated, and feeling better within the same day. More

Right now, if I close my right eye, I am blind. Everything is just a blur. I pray that this laser thing helps me see again. I will let you people know what happens. October 28th is the day of my laser surgery. 🙏🏼 Great news! I had laser surgery and I can see like a kid. Thanks Dr. Meehan!I had a checkup with Dr.Meehan, and so far everything is still great. Always a positive experience from checking in to getting to the exam room. Trevor was great in getting me settled in the exam room. Next comes Dr Meehan who seems to know what questions to ask when he walks in the room and during the exams. I don’t know how other eye doctors are but I know that every experience with eye Health VC has been positive. I Have a couple of appointments in June that I actually look forward to! More

I have been to Eye Health in Dartmouth. I never have any problems there. The staff is courteous and very helpful. They always explain what will happen and what they are doing with the eye drops and what will happen. They usually take photos of the inside of my eyes so Dr. Westerfeld can see what is going on inside my eyes. Dr. Westerfeld always explains what he sees and if any problems are developing. More

This was only my second eye exam ever, and I was initially set at ease by the friendly staff who got me set up right away. I was so grateful to Dr. Lo who spent time walking me through every test, for the most thorough exam and a prescription that feels so accurate and helpful. Visited this place for the first time on /1/24 with my 11 year old. He has anxiety with doctor appointments and it was a struggle to get him into the building. Once checked in, we were allowed to be distracted by looking at all the cool frames they have, and the nice pediatric frames they offer. When my little guy's name was called, he anxiously looked at me and i reassured him that his experience was going to be pleasant, and that it was. The assistant to the MD was wonderful and she was interacting with him along with getting all the work she had to get done, she reassured him that they were not going to blow air into his eye, and she was concise on listening to his concerns and what he experiences with his eyes, including the migranes he has recently been experiencing. Once the tech was done with her diagnostics, she excused herself and stated that the doctor would be in shortly. A brief minute later the doctor showed up and introduced herself to him directly. When she introduced herself, it helped my little one realize he was the one in control and he was going to be listened to. Despite my little one being fidgety and tired at the same time, Dr Baker patiently and compassionately completed her exam, even having to repeat herself a couple of times which she did so with a soft and gentle voice. Dr Baker explained at the end of the exam to my little guy that he could now go pick his new glasses, which we all know is the "fun" part. Picking glasses was easy and painless in their optical shop. Even though the pair of glasses he wanted were not covered by his insurance plan, he found another pair much like them in the area that were covered by insurance which he was happy enough with, for now. Eventually when we have the $200 for the Nike pair of glasses he likes we will order them but todays economy hasn't been kind to my family this year. So far the experience was pleasant and anxiety free for me and him. We look forward to picking up his glasses when they are ready. We are thankful for a pleasant and anxiety free experience Dr Baker and her staff offered to my 11 year old. More

I can’t say enough good things about this place after I received PRK LASIK surgery on both eyes here earlier this year. Huge shout out to Beth who, from the initial consultation, was super kind and thorough, which convinced me I was in the right place. Throughout both surgeries involving the pre op instructions and follow up appointments, everyone was so helpful and understanding guiding me through it. If you’re debating LASIK surgery, definitely reach out to Beth and get your surgery done by Dr. Kenyon as they were a phenomenal and caring staff to work with. More

UPDATE: Dr. Allard rectified the situation once she realized they didn’t make my follow up a priority and I was seen by her again within a week, got a new prescription and I can see again!! Will definitely stay here as a patient for the foreseeable future.Came here for the first time ever yesterday, they decided to put numbing drops in my eyes AND THEN do my eye exam after, I could not see because of the drops they made my vision extremely blurry. They couldn’t finish my exam and said I’d have to come back and they’re booking into April. My vision has gotten worse and I’m getting headaches and I don’t feel like they took me seriously enough and I will not be returning. More

I’m so thankful to have received wonderful care over the years, but this call center issue is a HUGE problem. On a Friday I tried to contact the Dartmouth office on 4 separate occasions but because they’ve outsourced their call center it’s nearly impossible to get ahold of them. I called the after hours line because I desperately needed some advice, Dr. Meehan was great at explaining what he believed I was experiencing and advised I come in the following week. By monday morning it’s an emergency and I am SOO incredibly thankful to Lauren Amaral at the Middletown office for contacting the manager Grace at the Dartmouth office allowing me to be seen today, potentially saving me from an ER visit. I was seen very quickly thankfully to these ladies and was treated by the kindest Dr. Allard who diagnosed my issue and prescribed me the oral antibiotics I so desperately needed.Having an eye emergency is scary, fix your call center, PLEASE!! This would absolutely be a 5 star review if getting a hold of the office wasn’t so difficult. More

I did visit the location in Dartmouth and was extremely frustrated w/ the insurance rep and the associate at this location. I could tell she did not want any part of helping me fix my issue. I was there for 2 hours back and forth in my car and on the phone then tried to get the associate to help me and she made it a point to tell me she didn't have time. So waiting my turn AGAIN .. ABIGAIL SOARES called my name and I said to her are you sure you want to "take this one" Her answer w/ a full smile "I like challenges" I gave her my phone to speak w/ the insurance agent and in a matter of 5 minutes my insurance issue disappeared.... Dr Kenyon did an excellent job on the surgery on my cataract inflicted eyes. I now have 20/20 vision for the first time in my 60 years. While trying to unplug my vacuum I dropped it behind my washer & instinctively reached down to retrieve it. My right eye felt immediate pain as it hit the point of a hanging wire hook! Frightened by the potential damage to my eye I called Eye Health Vision requesting an appointment. My doctor wasn’t in but I was promptly received an appointment with Dr Reis & less than 2 hours after the injury was given a thorough exam of my eye that included dilation & photos of the eye interior. She also explained what possible outcomes could develop & which would require immediate attention. Overall the care was outstanding! Also, I was so lucky that my contact lens cushioned my eye & prevented the point from piercing it! More

In addition to the large assortment of brands, it was extra special to have so much help and care from the knowledgeable staff. Ann Demilio balanced her time between helping me and other customers in a very professional and respectful manner. I’ve been seen here for years and the service is consistently great. Appointments can be scheduled quickly and the receptionists are very sweet at the desks. I saw Dr. Allard and it was such a positive experience, she was very thorough and since I have recurrent sty issues she referred me to Dr. Townsend, a well respected surgeon, for a lancing procedure. I popped down to their optical shop as my prescription had worsened and I needed new lenses. Ann helped me select my frames without being overly suggestive as I honestly can’t stand that. She was very knowledgeable yet actually gave me room to breathe and be comfortable with my selection. She had me in and out efficiently, around 15 minutes. I’m surprised though that plexiglass wasn’t installed as we are two years into a pandemic which spreads through close contact and these opticians are literally in your face taking measurements. Seeing as they were clearly short staffed, corporate should take note to further protect their patrons and employees. More

I followed Dr Corey Westerfeld from his previous office in Concord MA because he is an A+ Opthamologist. He has been treating my AMD & at this time it is cleared. The vision I had lost has been restored. Dr Westerfeld is brilliant, kind & patient. This office is run well: the women on the phones are lovely & helpful, the front desk is friendly & efficient, and the techs are all great. Thrilled with their diagnostic scanning equipment. It would be very helpful if this practice could set up an email system for patients to communicate with their doctors. More

I have Dr Reis as my doctor and she is great. The scheduling is horrible. They book two people for the same doctor at the same time. Another patient had the same 3:15 appointment with Dr Reis as I did. We waited 45 minutes to see Dr Reis.and I let her go first. My appointment lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes. It’s not Dr Reid’s fault but she takes the blame. It’s scheduling so that needs to be improved More

I have been coming here (Fairhaven office) for 20 years, since we moved back to town in 2020.  The office staff are very helpful and thorough, and Dr. Ronald Mastrolia is very professional and engaging, and I always learn new things when I speak with him.  I had concerns about macular degeneration (tested positive on both sides via 23 &Me DNA test), and he   spent time discussing this with me.  I felt so much better after my eye exam.  I've never had a negative experience here.  All the staff were also very accommodating and patient with my son who has significant mental health issues. The knowledge I received at Eye Health Vision Center in Dartmouth, as well as the testing and evaluations I received there, WERE FAR SUPERIOR to the other consultation I had at TLC laser vision center in Providence!! I received a much more informative and thorough consultation at Eye Health and I felt that I received a much higher level of care and personal attention. The entire staff was very friendly and informative and they answered all my questions and even gave me more information that I did not think to ask about!! Every detail was explained to me several times throughout the screening process making me feel very much at ease, comfortable, and excited enough to move forward. When my consultation screening was complete, it was reviewed by a doctor right away so I knew instantly if I was a good candidate or not. (At TLC I was told it would take 3 days for a doctor to review my chart and get back to me. I learned later on that it is because their doctors are not local and are flown in, which did not sit well with me and which may also be the reason that the price I was quoted before even being seen, was almost twice as much.) At Eye Health Vision Center, the doctors are all local and are there on the premises every day!! I cannot say enough good things about my experience or Dr. Gerber and the staff at EYE HEALTH!! If I could give them 10 stars instead of 5 I would, they are an amazing group of eye health providers and caregivers and they have changed my life. I am eternally grateful for their experience and their personalized care, my only regret is that i waited so long. I have never had a bad experience with the doctors and assistants. The reception staff could use training and organization. They never have my referral even though my PCP sends it. While that is aggravating, the experience in the exam room is always as pleasant as any eye exam can be. Dr. Goldman is very nice and answers any questions I have. I do tell him exactly what I am looking for from the appointment (contact and glass prescription) and I have never had a problem getting it. More

I have been going to Eye Health Vision Center in Dartmouth for at least 10 years and I have found all of the doctors to be professional and responsive to any questions I have.  They take their time with the exam and I have never felt rushed.  As a matter of fact I am always pleased with how fast I get in and out of there as I don't want to spend any more time than I have to at the doctors.  The waiting room is very comfortable though I am glad I never have to wait there long.  The eyeglasses department has a nice selection of quality eye-wear and the service is fantastic.  The only complaint I have (though I think it is this way at all eye doctors offices) is that the contact exam costs me an extra $20 on top of my co-pay. I came into Eye Health Vision Center for an eye exam on Dec 23rd. I was worried custody about not being seen on a timley matter since it was prior to the holiday. I can say I never had such a great experance, the girls at the front desk were curtosy and very helpful. After filing out my forms I sat in the waiting room just long enough to watch the weather lol then I was called in. The Doctor came in and explained to me that they had updated their software so he asked me some questions and typed them into the computer. The exam went smooth and fast, although I didnt visit their optical shop I did see it and it looked well stocked. The coolest thing was a few days later I received an email with my exam! So cool! More
