2019 proved to be the toughest year of my life both physically and emotionally. Some days I still struggle with the after effects of all the trials God led me through, but even on those worse days God showed me each and every time, good or bad, His path for me was to be trusted. So on this stormy rainy day and in this very moment I feel the presence of God leaving the eye doctor and being able to see again (for those that don’t know, I lost vision in my right eye in an accident that cut the optic nerve. ) total blindness forever in it. It was my primary eye due to a cornea scar on my left eye from years ago that made that eye blurry and only able to see blurred shapes etc. Dr Jacob West West Vision Care and his staff have worked me for a long time and through Gods grace, his expertise, and current science and technology - a sceral contact was built specifically for me and now I see 20/20 or better some days So you can only imagine how helpless and paranoid ive felt for couple weeks when that lens cracked and broke. worrying and waiting to be seen, have it ordered, waiting for insurance to stop giving us the run around etc. MISERABLE in yet another storm... holding my umbrella ☂ All I could do is give it to God and let him have it. Didn’t help the loss of vision BUT God returned my faith in Him by blessing me. And as He says we must share out testimony, no matter how big or small. Today the Dr West surprised me with having a new one ready for me versus having to measure, order and wait several weeks for it to come back and insurance to pay. Not able to do a lot of the ga for myself and ha I g to rely on everyone around me, THATS hard for me to have to do but- patience is earned more than it’s learned. 🙌🏼 Gods gifts come from places we never expect or think possible. There always an end to every storm But during it God makes a great umbrella until you see the rainbow. Thanks to God that there is loving, caring, people like Dr Jacob West and his AMAZING staff for helping me see again. More

Best experience.... This is definitely the best place to go if you have ever had any difficulty with finding the perfect prescription for contact lenses. They are very good at ensuring proper fitment of any cone shaped cornea (keratoconus) I highy recommended this place... It's a hidden gem! More

My 5 year old son had an abrasion on his left cornea and he was in constant pain. I took him to Dr. Jacob West and Im so pleased and happy for treating my son. Dr. West is so friendly and knowledgeable also staff members are so friendly. Now my son is been feeling better thanks to the drops he gave him. He is an awesome Doctor and I highly recommend him. My son has very aggressive Keratoconus. We were able to have him enrolled in the corneal cross-linking trials which halted progression of the disease. However, The disease had progressed to the degree that his vision was barely better than blind. After 70+ visits and fitting sessions for contacts which could never be made to fit comfortably and made only slight improvements.... and lots and lots of tears I frustration ...we were beginning to explore the idea of corneal transplant. I'm not exactly sure how I got Dr. West's contact information, but I called his office and asked his staff if he had any experience with keratoconus and was told that he did so we made an appointment. Simply put, after all the years and the stress and the financial hardship, and the pain and the fear and the anger…after two visits, yes two visits, my son walked out with the glasses and no contacts. If anyone has Keratoconus, walk, no run to this office! God bless you Dr. West for giving my son his life back. More

Absolutely excellent service. On my first visit, the first words out of Dr. West's mouth was " Are you ready to see today?" Sure enough, after about 10 years of constant visits with other Eye clinics, I was able to stop wearing hard contacts after constantly switching to a new pair every 2-3 months with other clinics. Dr. West had me in to glasses by the end of the week. I was so amazed. I could actually see tree bark up to 50-60 feet away by the end of the month. (Had to allow my eyes to adjust from having a hard contacts in for several years) Today is nearly year three. Im still in glasses with no problems. I only need these glasses for fine print reading, and long hours at my computer. **I HIGHLY recommend this eye clinic to anyone with any stage of Keratoconus. ** Please note, my eyes are cosidered to be in chronic stages. However, I had crosslinking done, this has haulted the progress of my condition. The contact I had made with this new machine he has fits perfectly. I have never been able to keep one in my left eye due to how advanced the keratoconus was before linking. I was honestly losing hope for my eyes. I thought i was going to be blind soon. I was depressed, I really couldnt enjoy much in life with out squinting really hard. This Doctor literally changed my life. Thank you so much Dr West! ~Deric More

Our 7yr old son, an existing patient of West Vision, was complaining of eye pain one evening after one of his friends had accidentally poked him in the eye. My wife called Dr West's office after hours to leave a message with the answering service/voicemail but was surprised to reach Dr West directly. He met my wife and son after hours and determined 1/3 of his cornea was detached and prescribed him some medication to get him on the track to recovery and ease the pain he was experiencing. We were so appreciative and thankful for the quick response and level of service; not something you would get with most of the big names/chains/franchise optometrists! More
