Long awaited review. The Eye Man have an extensive collection of high end frames and glasses — I was also able to utilize my benefits for them as well - huge plus! The staff was very patient and helpful in picking out the right frames for me. Additionally, the doctor gave amazing service and was very helpful with my first time contact lenses fitting. The technician was great in training and showing me how wear contacts and carefully. More

Excellent experience and highly recommend exams and eye wear at the Eye Man. I visited several optometrists and eyeglass shops up and down Broadway. My daughter and I decided to test and purchase our eyeglasses from the Eye Man. All of the associates we worked with were friendly and knowledgeable. We had coverage with many options and they were great consulting us on how to maximize our coverage to minimize our out of pocket costs. They have an extensive selection of frames. They were also able to special order a model and size they did not have on location at the time for me. They offered to special ship out of state as well for us. They'll go that extra mile for you too. Come on in and check them out. More

I was very impressed with Dr. Wang. I was referred here by my Optometrist, who said my blurry vision was caused by cataracts. I didn't tell Dr. Wang up front that I had seen three other Ophthalmologists, who thought the problem was my cornea and not cataracts, and that was the opinion Dr. Wang shared as well. This made me feel confident because I had this place pegged as a cataract surgery assembly line, so great to know that he wasn't biased towards cataracts being the problem. He explained my cornea issue in greater depth than any of the other Ophthalmologists. I was even more impressed that, because I had some odd factors to my cornea, he referred me to a university physician that could review his findings. More

I've been going to Brumm Eye Care for years. I believe in their service from the reception area to the Dr's assistants, to the Dr's and can't leave out the Optical department. Some years ago I had an eye emergency they handled my care as top priority and referred me to a surgeon. Having eye surgery the next day. Optical department has knowledgeable people and a wide range of eye wear. More

My mother had partial corneal transplants on both eyes over the past 2 years at Omni eye specialists. We loved Dr. Wang. He is very caring. Never makes you feel rushed. Always makes sure all your questions are answered. Staff is friendly. An over all great experience. Would highly recommend Omni to anyone. 💕 More

This eyewear store is fantastic. There are many frame options to choose from, including designer brands and affordable selections, and the prices are very reasonable. I had my prescription rechecked, and the staff were very welcoming, while the doctor was professional and patient. When I put on my new prescription glasses, it didn't take much time to adjust—only about 5 minutes. So, the prescription was fitted perfectly. The glasses are incredibly lightweight, and I didn't feel them being heavy during my workouts, exercises or all day long wearing. More

I recently visited The Eye Man on Broadway and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service provided. Shafi, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience; despite one of the pairs of glasses I wanted being on backorder, he was thoroughly communicative. His friendly demeanor made me feel exceptionally welcome and he was very accommodating of my unique requests (I'm very picky about my glasses these days), which I greatly appreciated. The store is gem. I was searching for a specific designer sunglasses. After visiting multiple stores i found this store. They offer a lot of high end frames. The opticians were great and so helpful. I got myself some 007 sunglasses to go along with my frames. The Staff as well as the doctor were super nice and helpful. Answerd me every question that i had, especially for someone who recently started wearing glasses newly it was a feeling of comfort. I highly recommend this store. More

What’s it worth to have people who know what they’re doing & who really care? While the Eyeman isn’t big all the people here sure have a big heart!! They take their time with you making sure you get what u really want and need. All their services are top notch including the small details like measuring lenses, making sure children’s glasses fit and you get the best shape, fit & color. And they’ll do it for everyone in ur family. No I don’t work there. It’s just they’ve been taking care of everyone in my family for nearly two decades. We started using the Eye Man when our son's eye doctor recommended them, and they have been great. But last night, our son got off the school bus with broken-beyond-repair frames, and I called the Eye Man to see if there was any possible way to get him new glasses in time for school today, despite being stuck at my office until the Eye Man closed. Shafi was incredible - he sent pictures of the available frames, found my son's file with all the necessary measurements, and even delivered the finished glasses to our apartment, for no additional fee. I was really blown away by the responsive service, and enthusiastic problem solving. My son got on the bus today in his new glasses, and I couldn't be more appreciative! More

Had a beautiful nyc experience the other day. I accidentally bent up my eye glasses at work - and it was going to be a complete hassle to get across town to have them adjusted where I bought them - especially as I was running late to a dinner date. I happened to be walking by The Eye Man on 81st and Broadway so I figured I’d stop in to see it they might be willing to help me out. Being that they’re not my normal eye glass store, I was bracing myself for the typical liability driven speech that they can’t help me because I’m not a regular customer there, blah, blah, blah. Much to my surprise, however, one of the employees, a guy named Shafi, couldn’t have been nicer - byway of hooking me up in a matter of minutes with a perfectly adjusted set of glasses that even my dinner date friend complimented me on. Thinking maybe it’s time to switch back to the ‘little guy’ operation - for my eye glass needs. More

I am relatively new to the neighborhood and so glad to discover this eye glasses store. Heather was extremely patient, knowledgeable, hands-on and overall just a pleasure to work with. I always think these little stores and small businesses are what make our neighborhoods great. These local businesses are not only convenient, but also give our blocks their characters and fun! I so appreciate Eye Man and the service Heather provided. They also have a small vintage collection of Oliver People sunglasses - very charming (for exhibition, not sale), which shows great taste of the owner in selecting frames and it makes the waiting time interesting. I have worn glasses for the last 30 years and have NEVER EVER had such an amazing experience getting a new pair of frames fitted!!! Kristi, a certified optician with 30 years experience was remarkable!! I wear my glasses 90% of the time and having a good fit on my face is crucial! I didn't even have to tell Kristi what the problem was with my frames she could look and tell me! She got them to fit perfectly and comfortably! I will not go anywhere else! More

I was fitted here for contact lenses. I had trouble putting in the contacts at first, but the staff was patient and gave me pointers. If my prescription changes, I'll gladly come back here for new contacts. More

7/02/2012 I had cataract surgery. Around 7:30 AM, I had been prepped and rolled into the operating room at Miracle Hills Surgery Center. The procedure was painless and by 9:00 AM I was home and I could already see much better than before. The next day I had a follow up with Dr Brumm. Much to my surprise my vision in my right eye was now 20/30 which is much better than it was when I first got glasses when I was 8 years old. I am now almost 61. The only thing I have to do post-op is to put in a few eye drops. Dr Brumm and his staff were extremely professional and at the same time put me at ease. I cannot wait to get my left eye done.
