Dr. Corey Westerfeld - Medical Director Eye Health Vision Centers

Corey Westerfeld, M.D. returned to Eye Health Vision Centers as Medical Director. Dr. Westerfeld is a retina specialist at Eye Health Vision Centers. Dr. Westerfeld serves on the clinical staff at Massachusetts Eye and Ear infirmary where he teaches residents and fellows and has mentored trainees in ophthalmology. He also participates in the latest clinical trials in macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy and maintains an active partnership with leading researchers in these evolving fields. Dr. Westerfeld is committed to bringing the latest clinical advances and developments to his patients.

Dr. Corey Westerfeld: I'm very glad to be back here at Eye Health. It's a place I'd worked at before and I really enjoyed the community, I enjoyed working with the patients here and also my colleagues here. It was a place that I very much enjoyed. I spent a couple years working in Boston and had an opportunity there to work at Mass Eye and Ear and some very prestigious locations, which I enjoyed and got a lot of and spent a lot of time doing some teaching up there, as well.

Dr. Corey Westerfeld: But, having the opportunity to come back here now as the Medical Director was a unique opportunity for me. It's great to be back with a lot of my friends and colleagues here. And I really enjoy the community here and I enjoy the opportunity to serve this patient population.
